Ive been to busy working on a Christmas present running late. It is finished now finally but I cant upload it until it's given to the person :P So right now I started working on a header for this page that will hopefully be finished soon!

Found out I have to draw balls and things spherical, so I'll probably start drawing some of them now.
One of them is more shiny then the other, hope that shows ^^

Fifth hand study. It's starting to get quite boring, but the time I use on each one of them has shortened. But still a lot of them are quite crooked...

Hand Study IV

Fourth hand study. Still having problems making the hands look anything like normal. Some is good but some are just awful... I just draw one arm and don't "edit" it after I see the mistakes, I just try to correct them on the next drawing. Some drawn quick, some used some more time with. I even traced one from the http://idrawgirls.blogspot.com page. It has a nifty hand tutorial as mentioned earlier. I needed to trace it just to get the feel of the "original" that I where trying to draw.

Hand Study III

Just a new hand "pose" if I might call it that. I feel I suck at drawing hands. But I started to get more hang of it after a while...

Cube Study II

Made some papercraft cubes and used Munsell's color map to define the values of the cubes. Worked quite nice but both the chart I printed and the cubes had bad quality, so I'll have to go make new ones tomorrow!

Hand Study II

My second hand study. Tried drawing the same hand over and over again, "concept art style" that means dropping most details, focus on speed.

It was hard. I will have to continue later but this was the result after trying and failing. Some I tried to do really fast. Others I used some more time on...

Welcome!

Welcome to my artistic blog. It will be filled with my creations in 2D graphic. I currently attend a school called "Høgskolen i Hedmark" where I have enrolled in the course "Visual Art and Design", hopefully to increase my skill and become a better artist.

I mainly use Painter 11 for my work, but this blog will probably include a bit of everything. I'll also try some vector graphics for once.
