Okay okay, I SHOULD have continued with the Speedmodel tag, but seriously. This is NOT a speedmodel anymore, I have used far to much time on it. The lighting in the picture is off because of the simple fact that it's an illusion and impossible to model "correctly" in 3D.

Speedmodel #003 - School Chair Unwrap
Well, yet another time it's not really a speed model. But just so the blog don't get too messy I'll call it that. :P
This is the unwrapped and textured by me version of speedmodel #002, and this time i went from VRay render to Mental Ray.

Speedmodel #001 - Designer Chair
Hello, my first "speedmodel" since I started the course 3D Art.
It's a basic of the basics course. Our first assignment was to make some furniture. So I made a designer chair after a reference image. Rendered with VRay.

Concept Art #001
A concept of a spaceship.
No reference
My own design:
I was building on the design that's on the bottom first, but I took a chance and cut the top out because the perspective was wrong. Flipped it and ended with the picture on top.

Cube Study III
I trained some more on using values and drawing boxes. Decided to find a picture of a boxman of some sort. Looked up one on deviantArt Found a picture made by antontang That I used for reference for the boxes.
I then used 10 printed out pieces of paper with grayscale from white to black to figure out the value of the figure on the photo. By placing one and one of them next to the photo and squinting my eye I can see the real values and not get tricked by the eye. Which is easy to do...

New Header Image
I found out I had to make a header for this page. It's inspired by a portfolio page I found some time back with cool 3D letters like these on, but I cant find it I'm afraid :(
Anyway, this is drawn in Painter using airbrush and pens mostly, used some time on it. It's not quite finished, but I got so bored of it because I didn't get the edges as soft and rounded as I wanted. So I had to just upload it for now, and see if I make any changes later. (Most probably will not, I guess I'll make a new one :P
